He was the son of James Francis Scott and Mary Rozilla Walker.


The Burlington Hawk-Eye

Mediapolis (IA) -- Services for 77-year-old Mr. Roy Francis Scott, Mediapolis farmer who died Friday at Harmony Home, will be conducted by Father Patrick Prior at St. Mary Roman Catholic church of Dodgeville at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Kossuth cemetery. The rosary will be recited at the Fry Chapel at 7:30 this evening.

Mr. Scott was the son of James F. and Rosella Walker Scott, and was born in Des Moines county on May 22, 1888. He married Pearl Schuler on October 16, 1912. A daughter, Mrs. Orville F. Baird of Michigan City, Indiana, was born to them. Mrs. Scott died June 12, 1920.

On June 6, 1923, Mr. Scott was married to Anna Marie Wiele Bane. To them were born two daughters, Mrs. Alice Nelson of Des Moines and Mrs. Elaine Dietrick of Mediapolis.

Mrs. Scott survives, as do a sister, Mrs. Chester Lee of Yarmouth, and two grandchildren.
