Charlotte McClung - Pearl River homemaker - Obituary

A service is scheduled tomorrow for Charlotte McClung, a longtime Pearl River resident, who died Thursday at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern. She was 81. She was born March 15, 1908, in New York City to Levi and Mary Hargrave Erskine.

A homemaker, Mrs. McClung lived on Chestnut Street in Pearl River. She graduated in 1931 from Cooper Union College.

Survivors include a daughter, Marilee Guarneri, of Pearl River, a son, Norman, of Haverstraw; a sister, Janet Crawford, of Chicago; five grandchildren, and four greatgrandchildren. Her husband, Willard, died in March 1986.

Tomorrow's service is scheduled at 11 a.m. at the Pearl River United Methodist Church. Burial will be t the Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill, New York

Calling hours are scheduled today from 3 to 5, and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home, 100 Franklin Ave., Pearl River.

The family requests memorial Contributions be made to the Endowment Fund of the Pearl River United Methodist Church, 130 Franklin Ave., Pearl River 10965.
