Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Lucille Bybee, 66, of Monroe, were conducted at 2 pm Sunday, Aug. 13, 2006, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Marlon Winningham and Bro. Terry McCloud officiating. Burial was in Stover Cemetery.

Mrs. Bybee died Thursday at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Born in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Doug and Auda (Ledbetter) Richardson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Hollis Richardson, Harlis Richardson, Shirley Richardson and M. V. Richardson; and a sister, Jean Richardson.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Bybee; daughters and sons-in-law, Sheena and Chris Hummel and Sandy and Chris Hargis, Cookie and Tim Carner, Sherry and Travis Peek; brothers, Leonard Richardson, Clyde Richardson and Illis "Buster" Richardson; sisters, Opal Wade, Ninnie Cope, JoAnn Tawe, Paulette Wilson and Bernice Maynord; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were David Langford, Danny Langford, Chris Richardson, Jordan Hargis, Justin Moody and Rod Johnson.

Jared Walker served as honorary pallbearer.
