Larry L.Whitehead age 74 of Maryville, IL, born November 29, 1941 in Oklahoma City, OK, passed away at 3:59pm on Friday September 16, 2016 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.
Larry was retired after 33 years as an Information Systems Specialist, at the time of retirement he was working at Scott Air Force Base. He was a former member of the Harrisonville, Missouri Optimist Club. He coached his three sons in baseball and football for over 30 years. Having grown up in Oklahoma, he was a loyal Oklahoma Sooners fan. He loved being with his family and adored his grandchildren, having attended most all of their sports or special events.
He was preceded in death by his parents Claude Lester and Hazel nee Beene Whitehead Jr., a sister Cheri L. Whitehead and a brother Danny C. Whitehead.
