CALEDONIA, Minn. - John C. Engstler, 67, died at the Caledonia hospital Friday morning, Dec. 20, after a short illness.
He was born on a farm near Hokah June 14, 1896, to Mr. and Mrs. Anton Engstler and never married. He had been living at the Evergreen Rest Home in Caledonia.
He is survived by one brother, Rudolph, Kenyon, Minn.
Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Steffen Funeral Home in Caledonia and at 10:30 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at Brownsville, Minn., with Rt. Rev. Msgr. John McShane officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday at 2 p.m. and Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Sunday.
