Rose Marie Patella Magliocchi, 91, of Brackenridge, died Tuesday (Dec. 24, 2002) in Applewood Personal Care Home in Brackenridge.

Born May 16, 1911, in Swissvale, she lived in the Valley most of her life.

Mrs. Magliocchi was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church and Ladies Guild, Ambassadors Club, and a volunteer at the Alle-Kiski Medical Center Auxiliary, all in Natrona Heights, Harrison; Allegheny Valley Women's Club, Catholic Daughters of America, Community Service Club of Tarentum, and several 500 card clubs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Magliocchi; her parents, Vincent J. and Carmela Punturi Patella; three brothers, Nick, Joe and Paul Patella; and a sister, Jay Paoletti.

Family and friends are invited from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday to the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME, Natrona Heights, where a parting prayer service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday. Christian Funeral Mass will follow at 9:30 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Worship Site, Natrona Heights. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer. The Catholic Daughters of America will recite the rosary at 6:45 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
