Ernest a lifelong resident of this vicinity passed away in Reed City hospital on Friday Nov. 14. He had been in failing health the past three years.Born in Richmond township he was the son of Theodore and Minnie Franke, pioneer residents. On April 23, 1888 he was married to Minnie Knuth in Reed City. He farmed for many years, retiring 28 years ago and moving to Reed City,. Surviving are the wife, three sisters Mrs. Elizabeth Dadles, Mrs. Minnie Erbes and Mrs. Bertha Grein and a brother John all of Reed City. Funeral servives were at the St. Paul's Lutheran church. Pallbears were nephews of Mr. Franke.
