She is alleged by some to have been a Mosher, the daughter of Hugh Mosher and Lydia Maxson, but no evidence has been found to support the assertion. No maiden surname is provided for her by Robert Charles Anderson, F.A.S.G. [Fellow of the American Society of Genealogists], in The Great Migration Begins: Immigrants to New England 1634-1635; pages 102-104.
