Terrence J. Brown, 68, of Davenport, Iowa, died Thursday, September 15, 2016, in his residence.

Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Monday in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory. Graveside services are 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Rock Island National Cemetery. Those wishing to attend should meet at the funeral home at 11:15 a.m. to process to the cemetery. Following the burial, friends are invited to join the family at a funeral luncheon at CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe.

Terrence John Brown was born June 21, 1968, in Clinton, Iowa, to Joseph and Arline (Schaff) Brown. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, and married Deborah Parsons on July 27, 1978, in Davenport. He was Park Carpenter for the City of Davenport for 28 years, retiring in 2010. He was a craftsman, enjoyed working on cars, and was a great dancer.

Terry is survived by his wife, Deborah; four children, Alexander and Laura Pena of Davenport, Nickalaus Brown and Kellie Rech of Davenport, Anne Brown and Seth Knappen of East Moline, and Lauren and Jeremy Frans of Davenport; two grandchildren, Zoie and Isaiah Pena; and siblings, Patricia Brown, Chris Brown, and Carol Brown, all of Rock Island, Kate and Ronnie Dankert, Michael and Jo Ann Brown, Tim and Patty Brown, Dan Brown, and James and Patty Brown, all of Davenport, and Phillip and Penny Brown of Florida; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Tom and Jeannine Brown and Bill and Nancy Brown.
