He began his career in aviation as a crop duster. His career also consisted of being a flight instructor for the United States Army, a pilot for C and S Airline, and a Captain for Delta Airlines.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Camille Cox Adams.
Survivors include his son, Jack Adams, Jr.; daughter, Ann Keenan; grandchildren, Ashley Adams Pierotti, Jack A. Adams III, Adam Taylor, John Taylor, Katie Rawlings, and five great- grandchildren.
