Armando Maldonado Adams went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2016 at the age of 74 in Del Rio, Texas.
He was born in Encinal, Texas on February 27, 1942.
He is survived by his children: Jesus (Ercilia) Adams Sr., Anna (San Juan) Pina, Armando Jr. (Yvonne) Adams, John (Sandra) Adams, Veronica Adams and Debbie Thomas; grandchildren: Jesus Adams Jr, Adrian Jimenez, Catherine, Amy, Jacyln, Anna Maree, Anyssa, Joshua and Austin Adams, Madyson Pina, and Alan Cook; brother Eduardo Adams; sisters Margarita Nieto and Maria Adams; numerous Loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Armando was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Maria Luisa Adams in 2014, son Joaquin Adams and grandson Jacob R. Adams.
Pallbearers are Jesse Adams, Jr. Adrian R. Jimenez, Alejandro Maldonado, Joey Roman, Ruben Fuentez and Jaime Briones. Honorary Pallbearers are San Juan Pina, Jimmy Murdock, Richard Hernandez, Hector Montemayor and Jorge Natividad.
Visitation will be on Monday, 5-9:00P.M, August 15, 2014 at G. W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home with a Rosary Vigil at 7:00P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, 11:00A.M, August 16, 2014. Interment will follow to Westlawn Cemetery.
