Obituary of Jessie Harrison
Jessie Harold Harrison, age 87 of Gulfport, formerly of Wiggins, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.

Mr. Harrison was born in Gulfport, MS, to Walter and Hilda Ladner Harrison. He was a graduate of Gulfport High School and retired from Mississippi Power Company. Known as “Mule” to his friends, Jessie served in the United States Navy and the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Strickland Harrison; and his parents.
He is survived by his children, Rhett Harrison of Crystal River, FL, Scott (Dora) Harrison of Gulfport, MS, Tambrey (Neil) Scruggs of Wiggins, MS, and Chett (Kim) Harrison of Gulfport, MS; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, from 12:00 noon until 2:00pm. The funeral service will be at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Pinnacle Hospice and One Magnolia Place.
