ORVILLE LAMBERT, 87

Orville R., Lambert, 87, of Micco, Fla, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 1999, in a Vero Beach, Fla. hospital.

He was born Jan. 21, 1912, in Coreyville, a son of the late James Lambert and Emma Gore Lambert. He attended Ironton City Schools, was an electrical maintenance department of Lawrence County General Hospital. He was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge, a member of the Lawrence Lodge in Ironton and also the York Rite, and was of the Baptist faith.

He also was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Davidson Lambert.

He is survived by a son, Richard O. Lambert of Micco, Fla; two brothers, James Cecil Lambert of Sandusky and John Glendon Lambert of Ironton; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Woodland Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Strawn officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home in Ironton.
