his parents James B. Logan and Elizabeth (Spencer) Logan. His wife Cretta (Cooper), married October 17, 1895 in Vigo County, Indiana.

Frank Logan came to Dunbar, WI in the early 1920's from Anderson, Indiana after the death of his wife Cretta. He built a cabin near Lily Lake and later had his youngest son Ralph join him. When work became scarce in Indiana, his two other sons, Ray and Albert came to the area. Ralph operated a sawmill.
