Michael A. Tesi, 66, of 929 Tabernash Drive, Leander, TX 78641, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015, with his loving family by his side. After a long and couragous battle with cancer. He was born on August 28, 1948, in New York City, New York. He was the son of Michael John Tesi and the late Rita Mary (MacDougall) Tesi. He attended Gloversville, New York schools after which he joined the U.S. Army, where he proudly served his country in the the Vietnam War. Following his discharge from the U.S. military he settled in the great state of Texas, where he pursued a career in auto mechanics until his ill health forced him into early retirement.
Mr. Tesi is survived by his wife, Lisa Tesi of Leander; children, Koo Hee Tesi, Sok Hee Tesi, Lesulle Walker, Rita Mary Tesi and Melissa Ann Tesi; grandchildren, Michille, Marie, and Addison; great-grandchildren, Christal, Joshua and Joseph; father, Michael John Tesi; brothers and sisters, Nicholas Tesi, John Tesi, Dorothy Kline, James Tesi and Marae Tesi; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family. He was predeceased by his mother, Rita Tesi; and his first wife, Kim Tesi.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2015, at Beck Funeral Home, Cedar Park. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015, at Beck Funeral Home, Cedar Park. Interment will immediately follow in Bagdad Cemetery, Leander, Texas with military honors.
