Appears as Eliza J. HARLAN (born Mar. 1828 in Alabama) in the 1900 census household of her daughter & son-in-law, William & Maymie STRATFORD in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia; also present in the household are George B. & Millie F. CHALMERS.

Mary Jane Galer's list of persons interred in the New Cemetery area of Linwood shows: Mrs. E. J. HARLAN, widowed female, died aged 81 years at her residence, 644 First Avenue [Columbus, Georgia] of paralysis; buried 12 DEC 1908 in Section C, Lot 143, by undertaker [Charlton Lafayette] TORBETT, reference local death certificate #1395 - Sexton Jesse Alec BEARD.
