She was born March 23, 1958, in DuBois, daughter of the late Fred E. and Mary Lou Radaker Peterson. She was a graduate of DuBois High School and had been a resident of St. Marys since 1981.
She was co-owner of Clyde's Quality Meats and Catering.
On Aug. 16, 1975, in DuBois, Pat married David L. Clyde, who survives. She is also survived by four daughters: Julie Challingsworth and her husband David, Ryan Snelick and her husband Russell, Adrienne Clyde, and Erika Kronenwetter and her husband Jeffrey, all of St. Marys; two sons, David L. Clyde Jr. and his fiancée Sherry Patrick of Altoona and Nathan D. Clyde and his wife Ashley of Pittsburgh; and 15 grandchildren: D. J., Emiley, Maggie, Brandi, Brayden, Kailey, Kaden, Kobie, Jayssa, Malaki, Sarrae, Calleigh, Cohen, Cortland, and Charlee.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by a son, Aaron J. Clyde, who passed away Sept. 1, 2006.
Pat enjoyed helping others and always put others ahead of herself. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and was the love of Dave's life.
Pat put up a strong fight since suffering a stroke two years ago.
She was a member of the Moose, the CMF, and the American Legion. Pat was an avid reader and an avid Penn State, Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins Fan.
There will be no visitation.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church on Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Three Rivers Stroke Foundation, 420 East North Avenue #408, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
