Virgie attended the Church of Christ. She was a homemaker her entire life. She had an amazing love for children and helped raise many others, besides her own. Her home was an open door for many who needed a hug or a place to stay. Virgie enjoyed working in her garden and her flower beds. She was an excellent cook and spent many hours canning the produce from her garden. Virgie loved to have family gatherings and spending time with her family was one of her greatest joys. She was always happy and full of sunshine. She was a dear, sweet and young at heart lady and will be missed by all who knew her.
Virgie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn Cannada; son, Doyle Cannada; great grandson, Ricky Donald Dailey; three sisters; and four brothers.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary E. Morris of Mountain Home and Linda Parks and husband Robert of Leslie; grandchildren, Jeff Parks of Leslie, Christy (Scott) Armstrong of Ward, Dennis Cannada of Eldon, MO, Rick Dailey of Russellville and Sondra Dailey of Fayetteville; great-grandchildren, Lynsey Parks, Zak Armstrong, Andrea Cannada, Lauren Parker and Logan Parker; four great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Zelda Thompson of Peoria, IL; brother-in-law, Bill Cannada of Birmingham, AL; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends who will also mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Virgie will be 3:00 PM Friday, September 16th, 2016 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Roy Ragland officiating. Visitation will be at 2:00 PM preceding the service. Burial will be in Rambo Cemetery.
