Mrs. Hettie Ellen Mumper, seventy-nine, widow of Albert Mumper, died at 9 a.m. Saturday at the home of her son, David F. Hackenberry, Bainbridge, after an illness of five days. She was born in Perry County, a daughter of the late William and Mary Ann Boyd Hess. She was a member of the Stony Point Evangelical Church, Perry county. Besides her son with whom she resided, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary J. Kirkpatrick, Bainbridge; two sons, Roy M. Hockenberry, Newport, Pa., and James K. Hockenberry, Lewistown; seventeen grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a brother, Reuben Hess, Ickesburg, Perry County; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Barton, Florin.
