BOISE — Services for Grover A. Whitlock, 68, Nampa Route 5, who died Saturday at a Boise hospital after a lengthy illness, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cloverdale Funeral Home by the Rev. Dwight Williams of Hillview Methodist Church. Interment will be at Cloverdale Memorial Park.

He was born Feb. 27, 1898, at Maple Grove near Boise. During World War I he saw action in seven major battles. He was a member of the Methodist Church and War Eagle Barracks, Veterans of World War I, Nampa.

Surviving are his wife, Twylah, Nampa; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Sailor of Ogden, Miss Bertha Whitlock of Ventura, Calif., and Mrs. Vesteena Vaughn of New Plymouth; a brother, Dave Whitlock of Nampa, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Merle, Charles, Don and Glen White, and Carl, Gary and Leon Evans.
