Born May 1, 1916, in Canton , Missouri, Ann was the daughter of Ernest L. and Vera V. Turner White. She married Edwin F. Brackensick on July 25, 1945, in Quincy. He preceded her in death on October 14, 1988.
Ann was a 1934 graduate of Muscatine High School and volunteered at Blessing Hospital. She was an active member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and belonged to the Evening Ladies Guild at church.
Ann was first employed in the credit office at Montgomery-Ward and then at Hokamp-Keis Jewelers for several years until its closing in 1979. She then worked at the House of Friendship until her retirement.
Surviving are two nieces, two nephews, one great nephew, and two great great nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sons, Richard and Paul Brackensick.
