HOLTON -- Mrs. Julia H. Hinman, 92, Holton, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 1990, at a Holton nursing home.
Mrs. Hinman had worked at the former Slimaker Dress Factory in Holton.
She was born April 14, 1897, in Arrington, the daughter of John Eckert and Catherine Cruise Eckert. She spent her life in the Arrington and Holton communities.
Her husband, Ray L. Hinman, died in August 1950.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen Martin, Silver Lake, and Mary Bell, Oroville, Calif.; a son, Ray Hinman, Holton; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in Denison Cemetery. Mrs. Hinman will lie in state until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Jackson County Nursing Home and sent in care of Denison State Bank in Holton, 66436.
