William was the husband of Emma M. Dake, and the father of one daughter, Florence. He was the son of James Harford Feight, Sr, and Ottelia (Tillie) Matilda Daniels Feight. After a divorce from Emma, William married Adeline Jane Crossman and fathered six children, and adopted her son, Earl.
