Cheris G. Anders, 69, of Wamego, Kansas passed away September 5, 2016. She was born March 4, 1947 at Dwight, Kansas to Clyde and Ruby Elizabeth (Kellogg) Banks. She was raised in Council Grove, Kansas.

Cheris married Eugene H. "Andy" Anders, Sr. on February 24, 1982 at Monmouth, IL. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, quilting, painting and cooking.

She is survived by her loving husband Andy; her children: Lorrie Newton (Ken), Melissa Albin (Vaughn), Rebecca Jury (Will), Terry Anders, Fawn Miller (Randy), Dennis Anders (Casey) and Kerstin Anders; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Cheris was preceded in death by her parents, her brother George Banks and two sons, Eugene Anders, Jr. and David Anders.

A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 10th from 2-4 pm at 1002 Pine St, Wamego, KS. It will be a "come and go" style gathering. She was loved and will be missed greatly.
