Florence Ella Beck was the 8th of 9 children of Samuel Turner and Mary Ann Hedrick Beck. She married Lemuel Boone Swicegood on November 24, 1917 at her home in Tyro Township, Davidson County, North Carolina, USA. She was born April 14, 1890 in Davidson County, North Carolina, USA and she died April 20, 1970 at Lexington Memorial Hospital, Lexington, Davidson County, North Carolina, USA. Together, she and Lemuel had 5 children: Lemuel Lawrence, Harvey Hoyle, Mary Elizabeth, Jacob Howard and Thelma Inez Swicegood. (submitted by Stephen Kent Walker)
