CUNDIFF, WALTER G., 63, died Friday, December 8, 2006 at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville. The Hardin County native was a Vietnam War Army veteran and was retired from American Standard. He was a member of Epiphany Methodist Church in Louisville, but attended Smith Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a member of Morrison Lodge #76, Kosair Shrine, Scottish Rite, Eastern Star #174 and was a Kentucky Colonel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fuller and Virgie Reed Cundiff. He is survived by his companion and caregiver, Pat Greer of Elizabethtown; three brothers, Paul Cundiff of Lawrenceburg, IN, Cecil Cundiff of Elizabethtown, and Sherman Cundiff of Lebanon Junction; two sisters, Lorine Alexander of Smyrna, TN, and Corine Cundiff of Lebanon Junction; a special friend, Linda Mae Cundiff; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home, with Rev. Bill Rounsaville officiating. Burial will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday and from 10 a.m. -8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
