Private RUSSELL J. WATKINS, formerly of this city, died Monday afternoon at Camp Meade, of pneumonia, aged 19 years. News of his death was received here by L.M. Watkins, his grandfather, by telegram. Before enlisting Mr. Watkins made his home with Mr. Edward, at Aberdeen, Md.

He is survived by a brother, Edgar, of the Engineering Corps, now in France, and another brother, Carl, also survives.

The body will be shipped to this city; interment in Rose Hill.
