"Robert E. Warford, 81, of 303 E. 31st Ave., North Kansas City, died Tuesday at Spelman Memorial Hospital. He was born in Pattonsburg, Mo., and had lived in this area 21 years. Mr. Warford worked for the Sealright Co., Inc., before he retired in 1969. He was a member of the Pattonsburg Christian Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ethel Warford of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Madden of Gladstone; a brother, Arthur Warford of Carrollton, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Gracie Cain of Pattonsburg; four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Newcomer's White Chapel; burial in White Chapel Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association of Western Missouri." The Kansas City Times, May 28, 1986
