Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in Hixson Brothers Chapel, Monroe, for Morris I. Erskine, 57, Rt. 4, West Monroe. The Revs. Jimmy Dobson and Wilbur Walker will officiate at services and burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Stanley Wall, Robert West, Bobby West, Wilbur Thorn, Sherman Martin and Herbert Hayes.

Funeral services are pending at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Monroe for Maurice Erskine, 57, Rt. 4, West Monroe.

Mr. Erskine, a salesman for the Lumberman Supply Co. of Monroe, died in Glenwood Hospital Tuesday afternoon after a short illness.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Etoile Erskine, three daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Brown of Monroe, Mrs. Maureen Burgess of Bossier City, and Mrs. Helen Adair of Austin, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Es[s]ie Gaar of West Monroe and Mrs. Ruth Russell of Winnsboro; and 10 grandchildren.
