Hilda L. Alford, 72, of Blountstown passed away Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Blountstown and was a 1956 graduate of Blountstown High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Blountstown Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Ruby Pelham Clemmons.
Survivors include her husband, R. L. Alford; son, Jonathan Alford; daughter, Juanice Johnson and her husband, Jeff ; two grandchildren, Bailey and Casey Johnson, all of Blountstown; a brother, D. L. Clemmons of Williamsburg, VA and two sisters, Linda Coxwell of Crawfordville and Juanita Temple of Callahan.
The family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 17 at Adams Funeral Home.
Services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug.18 at Blountstown Church of the Nazarene with Reverend Ernie Gray, Reverend Richard Waterman and Reverend Ken McClosky officiating. Interment will follow in Nettle Ridge Cemetery in Blountstown.
