Fay Thacker Taylor our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away from complications due to diabetes on July 10, 2013. She was born July 27, 1934 in Mount Emmons, Utah to Claude Merlin and Hilda Grace Fullmer Thacker. She was an inspiration to all and will truly be missed, but will always be in our hearts. Fay was very talented. She was well known for her oil and pastel paintings, especially of Birds and Flowers. She had a beautiful Soprano voice and was often called on to participate in choirs and as a soloist. She was always singing to her children and around the house.Preceded in death by her husband, Ted A. Taylor; parents; daughter, Terri Alee; sisters Ann & Clauda & brother Don. She leaves behind 3 children: Ted Jr. (Liz); Theresia & William; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren. Thank you to the Staff of Maple Springs for their kindness and caring for Mom with special mention to Rex, Jackey & Brandy. Funeral service will be held Monday, July 15, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where a viewing will be held Monday 10-10:45 a.m. Interment: Marion City Cemetery.
