Jamesport resident Lottie "Gladys" K Fischer died Feb 12 at Riverhead Care Center. She was 85.
Born Jan 22, 1923 in New Suffolk to Charles and Sophie Krukoski, she graduated form Southold High School and worked as head cook for Riverhead School District. She enjoyed her home and cooking, and loved growing blueberries and raspberries, family said.
Predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2003, she is survived by her children Thomas and Joann, both of Jamesport; siblings John Krukoski of Aquebogue, Josephine of North Carolina and Bertha Trojanowski of Connecticut.
Family received visitors at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead Feb 14. A funeral service was conducted Feb 15 at St Isidore's RC Church in Riverhead. Interment was at St Isidore's Cemetery.
