CIMARRON - Rosemary Reimer, 54, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, at her home in Cimarron. She was born Nov. 13, 1952, in Kingman, to Wilfred and Florence Jacobs Wehkamp. She grew up near Waterloo before the family moved to Ingalls when she was 7. She attended Theoni School in Finney County and graduated from Ingalls High School in 1970. On Feb. 8, 1975, she married Dean Reimer in Ingalls. They moved into Cimarron in 1995. A homemaker, Mrs. Reimer also worked at Bank of America, Southwest Nursery and for Drs. Wolfe and Hatfield, all in Dodge City. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Ingalls, and enjoyed yard work, landscaping and animals, especially cats. In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Jason Reimer of Ulysses; two daughters, Brooke Stohs of Lincoln, Neb., and Annie Martinez of Dodge City; six brothers, Ted, Ed and George Wehkamp, all of Garden City, Bob and Dan Wehkamp, both of Ingalls, and Arnie Wehkamp of Colby; two sisters, Carol Bergen and Marietta Seba, both of Garden City; a grandson; and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents. Vigil service and rosary will be 5:30 p.m. today at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Ingalls. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Revs. Joseph Bahr and Ted A. Skalsky as celebrants. Burial will be in Cimarron Cemetery.
