He is retired from Texas Instrument after 18 years of service, a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, member of VFW Post #8211, Amvets, American Legion and 40/8. Bennett is survived by his wife, Teri A.; daughter & son-in-law, Chris E. & Don Zimmick of Huber Heights; Son & daughter-in-law, Ben, Jr. & Donna Carroll of Batavia; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives & friends. Family will receive friends on Friday, August 5, 2011 from 6-8 PM at Marker & Heller Funeral Home, Huber Heights Chapel, 5844 Old Troy Pike.
