One thing I remember about Cora was that she had the wackiest sense of humor and she talked very loudly because Carlos, her husband, was quite deaf in later years. She also would put up her Christmas tree (a real one, not a fake one) and she wouldn't take it down until her birthday which was February 9, just a fun thing she did. We always wondered how she kept the darn thing from catching fire because it got very dry in that length of time.
