She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Perry and Gency Maynard Cable. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Simp Crisp.
She is survived by her sons, J.H. Crisp and Lowell Crisp of Robbinsville and J.R. Crisp of Chattanooga, Tenn.; daughters, Lucille Nelson of Detroit and Christina Buckner of Asheville; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Townson-Smith Chapel. The Revs. Larry Grindstaff and G.D. Phillips will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Breedlove Cemetery with visitation one hour prior to burial at Tuskeegee Baptist Church.
