Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Thora Ada Cordon Price Knight, passed away August 20, 1996 at the home of her granddaughter in Midway, Utah, age 91.
Born December 17, 1904 in Preston, Idaho, daughter of Ralph Roland and Anne Sophia Shumway Cordon. Thora is the 10th Child in a family of 11 children.As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she treasured her scriptures and her church books.
Survived by daughter, Darlene (Preston) Hunt, Taylorsville; four sons of Arizona, Rodney (Marilyn) Price; Nuel (Claretta) Price; Preston (Donna) Price; Calvin (LaVerne) Price; 29 grandchildren; 87 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husbands, Rodney Price; James Nelson; and William Knight; daughter, Kola and her husband, Jack James and their daughter, Sharon.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 10 a.m. at Taylorsbville Park Ward, 1555 West Lovely Road (5095 South). Friends may call Thursday, 5-8 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Friday at the church, 9-9:45 a.m. Graveside services will be held Saturday, 10 a.m. at the Driggs Cemetery, Driggs, Idaho.
