Mary Bowser Bickel, 100, of Parkersburg died Dec. 6, 2006, at Eagle Pointe Care Center.
She was born July 4, 1906, in Calhoun County, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, F.H. Bickel; their daughter, Barbara Ann Davy; three brothers, Paul, Bretney and Owen Bowser; and a sister, Margaret.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert F. and Diana Bickel of Charlotte, N.C.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Winifred Bowser of Parkersburg; nieces; and a nephew.
She was very devoted to her family. She was an ardent fan of the area of West Virginia where she was born and lived her life.
Graveside services and burial will be 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Cemetery, with the Rev. James Kinsler officiating.
Memorials may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice.
