Services for James V. "John" Addy, 74-year old retired insurance executive, who died early Friday in a Denison hospital, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Rev. Michael T. Flanagan will officiate and entombment will be in Hillcrest Mausoleum at Dallas under the direction of Daniel and Horton Funeral Home. Born in Sanborn, Iowa, he was the son of Henry Francis and Mary Shea Addy. He was a graduate of the University of Iowa and was married to Loretta C. Keck on July 30, 1935 at Davenport, Iowa. He had been a resident of Sherman 10 years, having moved here from New York, N.Y. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife; son, Dr. James Addy of Denison; sisters, Irene Baldwin of Manitowoc, Wis., and Mae Byrne of Anaheim, Calif.; and three grandchildren. If desired, memorials may be made to the Building Fund at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
