Denison, Tex., Nov. 13 — Dr. William Whitten, the well-known physician of Pilot Point, died in his room in a Chicago hotel on Saturday night. He was well known in this city and had many friends here. Mrs. Whitten is related to Dr. J. C. Field and wife.

Whitten of Pilot Point, whose sudden death at Chicago was reported in The News of Monday, will be buried at his old home in Virginia, where his family lives. Mrs. Whitten, his wife, wired to Chicago from Pilot Point to have his remains embalmed, and she left to accompany them to his old home.
