Lottie Irene Emery, 82, died July 22, 1999, at the Buhler Sunshine Home.

She was born October 21, 1916, at Castleton, the daughter of William David Roberson and Lottie Jane Haller Roberson. A lifetime Hutchinson resident, she was a homemaker.

On February 10, 1937, she married Roy Emery. He died March 4, 1993.

Survivors include: two sons, Walter, Copperas Cove, Texas, and George, Hillsboro; two daughters, Beth Babson and Wilma England, both of Hutchinson; a brother, Thomas F. Roberson, Hutchinson; two sisters, Minnie Evans, Junction City, and Wilma Evans, Hutchinson; 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Howard, and nine brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Darlow Cemetery, rural Hutchinson, with Pastor Nick Rempel presiding. There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be sent to Buhler Sunshine Home or the American Diabetes Association, both in care of Buhler Mortuary. -- The Hutchinson News, July 24, 1999.
