Virgil Lee Baker, 80, of Sparta, Tennessee passed from life December 19, 2003.
Baker was born March 10, 1923, in Sparta, to Landon Baker and Lena King Baker.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his beloved, devoted wife, Elzora Marie Ogle Baker, of Sparta; one daughter, Shirley Peterson, of Fairgrove, Michigan; his two sons, Ronald Baker, of Madison Heights, Michigan, and James Baker, of Royal Oak, Michigan; one brother,
Ralph Baker; and one sister, Louise Hensley, both of Tennessee; 12 grandchildren; and
12 great grandchildren.
Services will be conducted on Monday, December 22, 2003, at Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Baker-Tollison Cemetery. Charles Ogle will officiate. Hunter Funeral Home.
