Frances was born on February 7, 1922 in Raynesford, Montana to the late Michael and Anna ( Fiesel) Bieganek. AT the age of seven the family moved to Harding, Minnesota, where she graduated the eight grade. Frances then attended St Francis High School in Little Falls, . Following High School she attended business college in St. Cloud. After college she worked at the Pentagon in Washington D.C. for a year. On July 19, 1944 Frances was united in marriage to John N. Litke at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding. While John was in the Navy she worked in Richmond, Va and Boston, Mass. Following his discharge from the Navy they started a business in Harding . They stayed happily married for 53 years. Frances was very active in the church as a religion teacher for 13 years, sang in the church choir for 14 years. She was also in the Holy Cross Mission Circle. Frances was the Treasurer for the village of Harding for 15 years. She loved to crochet afghans, other hobbies included stamp collecting, bowling, going to the lake, and watching her children and grandchildren play. Survivors include her husband John of Harding, 5- sons: Terry and ( wife) Carol of Dawson, MN; Michael and (wife) Joy of Brainerd, MN; Gary and (wife) Lu of Forest Lake , MN; Dennis and (wife) Diane of Brainerd, MN; and Glenn of St. Cloud, MN; 2- daughters: Lois Johnson of Castle Rock , Wash.; and Bonnie and ((husband) John Schiller of Baxter, MN; 3- sisters; Helen Burchett of Nevada; Violet Westlund of Maple Grove, MN; and Carol Nelson of Willmar, MN; 16 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by her parents: 1-son, John; and 3- brothers; Norman, Jerome, and Lawrence Bieganek.
