Funeral services for Alton Louis Jordan, 58, of Rosenberg, will be held Friday, August 20, at 2 p.m. from the Church of Christ at 1201 First Street in Rosenberg, with Mr. E.T. Fletcher officiating.

Mr. Jordan passed away Wednesday morning after being rushed to the Polly Ryon Hospital Tuesday night. He was a native of Milam County and was born at San Gabriel. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ada Mae Jordan of Rosenberg; three sons, Edward D. Jordan of Freeport, Estle L. Jordan of South Houston, and Wilford Jordan of Houston; two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Shuman of Pasadena, and Mrs. Alice Love of Houston; three brothers, Willie Jordan of Cameron, Ira E. Jordan of Challenview, and Isam J. Jordan of Rosebud; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Baird of Cameron, Mrs. Edith Rawls of Phoenix, Mrs. Myrtle Payne of Houston, and Mrs. Velma Warren of Waco; and 16 grandchildren.

Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery under the direction of Garmany and Co. Funeral Directors.
