Betty, 79, of Stevens Point, Wisc., died at St. Michael's Hospital.
She was born to Walter and Mary (Lepak) Dzikoski. On July 30, 1949, she married Bernard Zakrzewski, who is deceased. On April 13, 2002, she married Paul Niekamp, who survives.
Also surviving are son, Michael (Cathy) Zakrzewski, Woodbury Minn.; nine stepsons, Mike (Barb), Paul Jr. (Judy), and Joe (Cheryl), all St. Henry, Tom (Janis), Centerville, Patrick (Mary), Fort Recovery, Ron (Doris), Findlay, Bob (Ginny), Shantytown, Wisc., John (Becky), Stevens Point Wisc., and Tim (Debbie), Palmer, Alaska; a sister, Corky (Stanley) Cychosz, Stevens Point; a brother, Eugene (Sylvia) Dzikoski, Madison, Wisc.; two grandchildren, 42 step-grandchildren and 19 step-great-grandchildren.
She worked at Sentry Insurance as a group health supervisor retiring in 1987. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School, Stevens Point, and attended business college. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Rosary Society and Catholic Women's Club, also Stevens Point.
