Caneishia Brooke Adkins age 22 of Dingus, KY passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Morgan County ARH Hospital in West Liberty, KY. She was born on Saturday, September 25, 1993 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY. She is the daughter of Paul & Paula (Manley) Smith of Dingus, KY and Greg & Penni (Scanlon) Adkins of West Liberty, KY.
Caneishia was a Christian & had a strong love for God & mankind. Caneishia had attended the Williams Creek Elkfork Community Church on HWY 172 in Morgan County. She was known for praying for the sick, calling them & sending cards. Caneishia loved watching WLJC & she also enjoyed singing religious songs.
Caneishia was a 2012 graduate of Morgan County High School. She worked on the school coop program as a janitor at both Arby's & Mountain Telephone in West Liberty.
Caneishia was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Addison Manley; her paternal grandfather, Earl Adkins; her paternal step-grandfather, George Scanlon; her paternal step-grandmother, Shirley (Perry) Scanlon; her maternal uncle, Everett Manley; her maternal aunt, Frances Young; her maternal aunt & uncle, Judy & Robert Wright; her maternal cousin, Amy Young and her great-grandparents, Lynn Boyd & Lydia (Rupe) Wells; Otto Everett & Nellie (Hawkins) Manley; John Riley & Prudie (Keeton) Adkins & Jesse Irvin & Emma (Jenkins) Dulin.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 5, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Herald, Stewart & Halsey Funeral Chapel in West Liberty, KY with Bro. Danny Price, Bro. Josh Hampton & Bro. Dennie Cantrell officiating. Special singing was provided by Manford Wright & Lundie Wright.
Burial will follow at the Manley Cemetery located on HWY 437 at Dingus, KY.
