Elmer L. "Butch" Rowland, 65, funeral will be held Saturday with burial in Hillcrest cemetery. He was found about noon on Wednesday in the woods near the former Izaak Walton League cabin in Ta-ha-zouka Park from a self-inflicted gun wound. He was born July 24, 1913 at Norfolk to Edward and Emma Rowland. He was married on April 27, 1943 to Flora Korn at Madison. She died in Dec. 1968.
