Mrs. Everett Morgan
Mrs. Everett Morgan passed away Saturday last at her home in Springfield, Massachusetts. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan where she married Adelbert H. Babcock. Most of their married life was spent in Detroit, where she was associated with the Fort Street Presbyterian church and for many years took an active interest in its affairs. Mr. Babcock was a 32nd degree mason and both were well known in Masonic circles. After Mr. Babcock's retirement from business they moved to Brookfield, Mr. Babcock's birth place, where they attended the Seventh Day Baptist church. Mr. Babcock died twelve years ago. Mrs. Morgan married Everett Morgan who died three years ago.
Mrs. Morgan was of a gentle lovable disposition, which particularly revealed itself in the patience and courage with which she bore her last illness, continuing for a period of three years preceding her death.
She is survived by three, daughters, Mrs. John R. Babcock of Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Edwin Gardiner, of Springfield, Massachusetts and Mrs. Walter Hayes of Buffalo and several grandchildren. A funeral service was held in Brookfield on Monday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Brown, Reverend William M. Simpson officiating. Interment in Brookfield Rural Cemetery.
