Claude M Bailey Obit

Mr. Claude M. Bailey, age 73, of 249 Mahr Avenue, died February 2, 1975 in Crockett General Hospital after a long illness. He was a native of Lawrence County, and a member of Springer Road Church of Christ. He was the son of the late Calvin and Jennie Green Bailey. He was retired from the Lawrenceburg Police Department.

Funeral Services were February 3 at 2:00 at North Funeral Home with Johnny Fisher officiating. Burial was in Nelson Cemetery with North Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Etta Crews Bailey, Lawrenceburg; two daughters, Mrs. Jesse C. Smith, Nashville, and Mrs. James Belew, Lawrenceburg; two sons, Marcus E (Gene) Bailey, East Point, Ga., and William Smith, Attalla, Ala.; one sister, Mrs. Nannie Hill, Lawrenceburg; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
