"Corry Journal: Final rites were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the late home in Columbus in memory of Dr F G Emerson, well known former local chiropractor, who passed away at his home Saturday evening after a lingering illness. Rev Perry F Haines, of the local Methodist church, officiated at the services, during which Mrs O A Johnson and Mrs Irvin Young sang 'No Disappointment in Heaven' and 'Just Inside the Eastern Gate.' Interment was made in the family lot in West Lawn cemetery at Columbus and the following grandsons were bearers: Frank Westren, Carmen Westren, Adrian Jaggi, Wayne Jaggi, Lyle Jaggi and Marion Jaggi. Services were largely attended by relatives, neighbors and friends. Members of the official board of the Methodist church attended in a body."
